Diploma in Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM)
Nursing course is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. The course deals with the field of science and enables healthcare professionals to focus on the care of individuals, families and communities so that they may attain, maintain or recover optimal health and quality of life from conception to death.

Total duration of course is two year (18 Months + 6 Months Internship)
First Year

Eligibility Condition
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognized Board, Council or University or those whose result are awaited but qualify before the date of admission.
- The candidates from all streams of study are eligible to apply for admission.
- The candidate must have attained by 1st October minimum 17 years and maximum 30 years of age as on 1st October. For this the candidates are required to submit a self attested copy of their class X certificate or any other valid evidence to support the claim.
- Candidates have to be medically fit.
General Conditions
- The candidates need to be physically fit for which a medical certificate shall be submitted from the Chief Medical Officer or any Government Hospital at the time of admission which will be returned after verification by the Medical Board of the Institute.
- The candidates shall produce the original mark sheets and certificates at the time of admission which will be returned after verification.
- No candidate shall leave the curse before the completion of its duration otherwise the caution money and all other fee so deposited shall be forfeited.
- All the candidates shall abide by the Rules framed by the college from time to time and any violation thereof will attract disciplinary action.
A. Basis of Selection: The selection of the candidate to ANM course will be made on the basis of the interview.
B. Admission Procedure: Applicant placed in the merit list shall be called by the college & given admission in the order of merit.
C. Scheme of Examination: This will be based on the norms and rules of Indian Nursing Council & UP State Medical Faculty, Lucknow. It will be notified and applicable from time to time. CCTV provides entire activities of the college transparent, particularly prohibits use of unfair means during examinations.

Fee Structure
General Rules & Regulation
Attendance Requirement: Students are required to attend class regularly. Biometric attendance machine is installed to manage the attendance of students. As per college rules, no student will be allowed to appear in the end term Examination unless he/she has under gone regular course of study in the college and has put in at least 75% attendance.
Uniform: Students are required to come in the prescribed uniform every
day else the college may take suitable action against them.
Dispute: In case of any dispute, the decision of the Principal of the college shall be final. However an aggrieved student may appeal against the decision of the Principal to the Management Committee of the college. The decision of the Management Committee shall be final and abiding to all students. The jurisdiction for legal proceedings will be in Barabanki only.
Amendment: The Principal of the college, with the approval of the Management Committee of the college may make any change in the Prospectus to avoid any difficulty created by the existing provisions. The students shall be bound by the changes so made from time to time.
Anti-ragging Committee: The college has an anti-ragging committee comprising members of the academic staff and management committee to ensure security of students & staff.
Scheme of Examination
The college follows Annual System spreading over entire academic period. In each period, there will be Class Tests, a Mid Term Examination and End Term Examination followed by Practical Examination. IN the 1st year a PTS examination will be conducted after completion of 3 months of the course. The End Term examination shall be conducted by the U.P. State Medical Faculty. The grading of marks will be as: Distinction – 80 % and above; First Division – 70 % to 70 %; Second division – 60 % to 69 %; Pass – 50 % to 59%; Fail – Below 50%.
The dates of examinations will be as prescribed by the college/UP State Medical Faculty from time to time. No student will be promoted to higher class unless she has cleared all the papers in the previous relevant year.
Students must have no dues certificates from librarian, account section and Principal of the college before appearing in the end examination.

The World of Nursing
A career in nursing is interesting, rewarding and challenging. Nurses work in every Health setting from accident and emergency to working in patients, homes, with people of all ages and backgrounds. Although traditionally nurses cared for sick patients, that is now only one of the many exciting roles. Nurses are a crucial part of the healthcare team. In fact they are the largest group of staff in the any hospital. Traditionally, nurses have cared for sick patients, indeed caring remains the main focus of nursing. However, the role of nurses has developed and expanded.
The World of Midwifery
Midwifery provides care for women throughout pregnancy and childbirth, and is lead professional for those women whose pregnancies are uncomplicated.
Midwives:
- Promote health before, during and after pregnancy.
- Provide health and pregnancy-related education.
- Promote normality in pregnancy and childbirth.
- Recognise and respond to emergency situation.
- Administer medications.
- Work as part of a healthcare team.
- Need to be flexible to cope with the ever changing health service.
- Undertake research to improve midwifery care and outcomes for women and babies.

The World of Paramedic
Apart from doctors, paramedical professional play an integral role in an efficient function of the healthcare mechanism. The students of science with biology at 10+2 level can make a rewarding career in various disciplines of paramedical sciences.
A Paramedic is a highly trained and skilled medical professional who is educated to carry out some of the duties of a Physician. Paramedics can examine, evaluate and treat patients with equipment and medications usually only found in the emergency department of a hospital. Paramedics are typically utilized as emergency care practitioners on ambulance or on first response emergency vehicles but their scope is rapidly expanding in many other areas. Some of these include industry, elementary and high schools, colleges, hospitals, doctor’s offices. More challenging and higher paid positions include working in specialty areas such as cruise ship medical departments, off shore oil drilling platforms, helicopter or fixed wing medical transport and hyperbaric oxygen chambers. Often they are the sole or highest trained medical provider in these areas.

The college offers awards and scholarships to the meritorious students. The Excellence Award (Rs. 1000/-, 500/-, 250/-) respectively will be given out to the students standing First, Second and Third in order of merit in the respective End Term Examination passing in the First Attempt.
